Body Scanning Ltd was founded by Wendy Calver, who is a registered nurse with many years experience of dealing with the concerns and fears of women who have found lumps in their breasts or under their arms. We truly understand the emotions surrounding the word ‘cancer’.
Thermal imaging is non-invasive, safe and has no side effects whatsoever. A thermal scan can monitor breast physiology and can monitor changes when carried out regularly. Dr Peter Leando of Meditherm explains in the video what thermal scanning is and the benefits.
This service is suitable for women (including pregnant women) and men of all ages, and also very safe for children. It gives the opportunity for women to check their breast health and detect any potential abnormalities at an early stage. (Breast cancer in men is on the rise, rising over the last four decades).
Normal thermal changes
Inflammatory cancer of right breast
Ductal carcinoma left upper breast
Medical thermal imaging scans can either be carried out on individual areas of your body, such as the breasts or back, or you can have a half body or full body scan.
We advise that you have a scan done annually, to detect any potential problems that may be starting, so you can be referred for investigation and subsequent treatment at an earlier stage.
