Body Scanning Ltd was founded by Wendy Calver, Award-Winning Certified Clinical Thermographer and Registered Nurse of 36 years, to bring the remarkable benefits of medical thermography to patients across the UK and beyond — offering a safe, radiation-free approach to health screening that puts you in control of your own wellbeing.

Wendy’s Story

Wendy’s nursing career spanned nearly four decades, during which she worked across medical, cancer and cardiac wards, intensive care and brain injury units, as well as in practice nursing — giving her an exceptionally broad understanding of patients and their needs.

Her introduction to thermography came through friends who had undergone breast and full body scans and were enthusiastic about the experience. Intrigued by this pain-free, non-invasive process with no side-effects, no radiation and no injections, Wendy explored further — and was convinced by the profound benefits this completely safe imaging technology could offer patients.

She trained as a clinical thermographer under a highly respected expert in the field of thermology, qualifying in 2017, and established Body Scanning Ltd shortly afterwards. The practice has grown steadily ever since, with patients now travelling from across the UK and internationally to be seen.
